As partner in Heinrich Law, my mission is to protect the rights of individuals in the face of opposition from large, well-funded businesses and government entities.
I have always been passionate about achieving justice. From my time in law school, working at the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic and the Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund, to my current practice in personal injury law, I have committed myself to fighting for what’s right and using my legal skills to help people lead better lives.
Since joining Heinrich Law, I have been instrumental in winning many significant cases including serious motorcycle and bicycle crashes, pedestrian injuries, dog bite claims, and premises liability matters.
Prior to Heinrich Law, I worked at a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm where I served as lead Associate responsible for the resolution of multiple heavily litigated matters in a wide range of personal injury practice areas. I also developed extensive experience with uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage issues, achieving numerous policy limits settlements in this arena.
Before law school, I worked at The Recorder, a legal newspaper in San Francisco, where I served as the coordinator for the publication’s advance sheet services. After years of reading and learning about the law, and the Bay Area’s thriving legal industry, I resolved to get off the sidelines and join the community I had been serving.
I attended Golden Gate University School of Law on scholarship as a member of the Honors Lawyering Program. In addition to my work in environmental law, I also served as an Editorial Board Member and Journal Editor for the Golden Gate University Environmental Law Journal.
During my time with the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic, I recognized the unique role that lawyers can play in advancing the interests of individual clients in the face of opposition from large, well-funded business interests. With this in mind, I leaped at the opportunity to join a large Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm following my admission to the Bar in 2009.
From 2016 through 2019, I was named a California Super Lawyers “Northern California Rising Star,” which is a designation given to only the top 2.5% of all attorneys in the region.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, hiking, camping, collecting LPs, and playing my banjo.
